Keiko Yukimura

Keiko Yukimura is a straight-A student whose personality is opposite that of Yusuke's. Her hobbies include cooking and cleaning. Keiko's parents run a ramen restaurant called the Yukimura Diner. After Yusuke is hit and killed by a car, he is allowed to come back to life on the condition that someone kisses him, and this ends up being Keiko. Yusuke tries to not get her involved with his spirit detective escapades, but circumstances prevent her from staying uninvolved. After being dragged into multiple supernatural incidents, Keiko asks Botan to explain Yusuke's situation and is initially told a cover story which excludes any supernatural element. Eventually the full truth is revealed and Keiko does her best to support from the sidelines. Yusuke and Keiko, who are childhood friends, are closer to each other than they would like to admit. Towards the end of the series, Yusuke stops by her parents ramen restaurant and proposes to Keiko. It is initially brushed off as being like multiple proposals when they were kids whenever Keiko got mad at Yusuke, but he promises to return in three years and marry her. After Yusuke returns to the human world at the end of the series it is implied that he keeps this promise
