Nenene Sumiregawa's editor, who hired the Paper Sisters to guard her early on in the series. Usually very calm, despite apparently having recently given up smoking (evidenced by constant, nervous pencil-chewing). Seemingly minor at first, he plays a bigger and darker role as the scope of Dokusensha's plans--for Nenene in particular--is revealed. He owns an Zippo lighter with some minor importance to the plot.
